Welcome to something new...
What we do
The Enable Project is a groundbreaking initiative which promotes real inclusion for people with learning disabilities, Autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and mental health conditions. We provide safe and friendly support as participants take part in daily activities to develop their skills and confidence during the transition from youth to adulthood, and beyond.
Our focus is on true integration. We don’t run a day centre. We don’t hide people away. We have a timetable of activities that take place out in the community. Participants play a very active role in deciding which activities make it onto the timetable, and our days are always an adventure.
One size does NOT fit all!
We are a person centred team, and we recognise that everyone is an individual - we don't like to put people into boxes. Some of our participants join other participants as part of a group, but this approach isn't for everyone. We have a lot of people who work with us on a 1:1 basis, and some people have a mix of 1:1 support during some sessions, and 2:1 or 3:1 support during other sessions.
At The Enable Project, we do things your way. We're here to facilitate your learning and your adventures, and we do that in a way that is supportive, person centred, open and honest. The support that we offer is bespoke and always tailored to your needs. So don't be afraid to get in touch - let's have a chat about what you're looking for!
